Repairing Stepping Stones?

January 15, 2022

Could I use weldbond mixed with glitter and go over the small pin holes on top of my freshly cement stepping stone? And then, seal it with grout sealer for outdoors?

Instructions from Weldbond:
Use as a Bonding Agent.
Bond new concrete to old. Repair cracked or flaking surfaces. Trowel out to a featheredge.
Step 1: If required, seal the surface. (using 5 parts water and 1 part Weldbond).
Allow 1 hour to dry.
Step 2: Apply a coat of 3 parts Weldbond and 1 part water.
While this is still tacky, pour wet cement mixture on top.

I have used E-6000 to repair broken pieces and it worked okay.
Just use it as if you were repairing a plate; clean the area before starting no matter what you use.

Be sure you do not use anything that will make the stones slick/slippery.

I have a nephew that was upset one day and pulled out some of the stones, marbles, and other decorations from our stepping stones. Is there a glue or something I can use to replace them? To be able to put them back in would be to cool.

Yes E 6000 and it is water proof, and for concrete as well. You can Buy it at Walmart for $4.00. Or on EBay if you need a larger amount.
