The manual has a troubleshooting guide if you haven't tried it:

www.manualslib.com/.../Bifinett-Kh-1171.html

If the manual doesn't help, the company has a contact source:
www.kompernass.com/.../contact

As a last resort...I have friends that swear by this site for help:

Use a rubber hammer on it. That should help

I agree with Judy, use something to "break/knock" it loose as it probably has some type of gunk where the bottom and top join.

  • Sadly, the manual does not have very good questions/answers on real troubleshooting.

  • It seems there are pros and cons about people using FixYa but I have found answers on their site.

  • If you do not have a rubber mallet, you might try using something that is not hard (regular hammer would make a dent unless you soften the blow with a towel or?) but maybe use something like the side sole of a tennis shoe.
  • Really may not take a very hard rap to set it free. Just be sure that all screws have been removed.

The mallet free way.

Its a good idea to photograph each step before removing to avoid mistakes when reassembling.

Here we go..

Remove the paddle and baking mould.

Turn the machine upside-down.

Unscrew six screws on the base.

Now turn the machine back over stand it back on its base and open lid.

Remove 8 small screws silver from the inside base and the smaller black screw on the inside side, (that supports the element).

Do not unscrew the larger silver screw in the side (control panel side)

Now carefully lift the metal sleeve being careful to slide it over the silver side screw just mentioned.

Now inside you have easy access to the base securing tabs.

There is a cable connecting the circuit board to the control panel that can be accessed after the next step. Do not completely separate the base ffom the top housing before releasing this cable.
It becomes clearer as you begin to separate the housing.

Carefully ease tabs away from side one by one until the base comes free.

Now carefully lift the housing bearing in mind it is still connected by a cable.

Release the cable from the main circuit board. It is a common pinch and pull connector.

Now you should have the base separated from the housing.

To access the belt you need to separate the metal base plate from the plastic outer base. This is done by removing 7 more screws.

2 located at the front edge.

3 located the circuit board side of the element. (do not the release the 2 screws securing the element support or 2 that secure the circuit board support or the earth screw)

1 screw, outside edge same side as the electric motor.

Finally 1 screw outside edge between the motor and circuit board.

Gently lift the plate from the front and access to the belt is gained, mallet free.

I virtually broke my machine trying to separate the bottom. Thankfully discovered I had to remove the inside screws before progressing. I wish I had discovered this sites answer earlier.

Now I have to find a replacement belt as everyone seems to be sold out because of coronoviris. Thanks.
