How do I fix a cigarette burn from a fabric car seat?
By Shirley
There is no way to "undo" or fix it. The best you can do is patch it. I would find thread or yarn to match your seat and darn it to close.
You could fuse on a patch of the same material

I have a cigarette burn on car seat upholstery. It is about the size of a quarter. Any suggestions?

If it's cloth car seat upholstery, about the only thing you can do is try to match the colour and style with an heat-adhesive patch. Look in the upholstery aisle at a chain auto parts store or call in at your dealer. Easy to apply but not terribly reliable, I usually found a car seat cover worked best once a tear or stain was impossible to repair.
If the upholstery is plastic or leather, you're in luck! There is an amazing product available at the chain auto parts store (also your dealer) that comes in a little vial with a spatula shaped applicator built into the cap. Follow the directions carefully for a near perfect fill of the burn hole.
Whats the product called?...
Any ideas how to cover a cigarette burn about the size of a pencil eraser on an upholstered seat in my car?
