My foot pedal was not working and the flex would not retract. I opened it up and there were a lot of threads causing the jam. I removed the threads and in doing so the pedal fell apart and the metal spring flew out. I need a diagram or instructions as to how to fit it back correctly. I attached pictures of the spring and the housing where it has to fit.

I have been looking for a guide on this foot pedal and can't seem to find one. I basically can find a new user manual on ebay which you will need to purchase. I have found several questions and answers sites, but nothing that would help you with this.
I have found a site that sells replacement parts and it seem very reasonable to buy a new foot pedal for your machine. If you are interested in purchasing a new one here is the site.
