You are going to need 1 round sewing needle, thread, and a pair of needlenose pliers to do this job with. There are specialways to do this to not make holes in the leather and get the seams where they look good and do not rip out again. Use a strong thread and upholstery needle. Be careful, because if you make a mistake the needle holes are permanent.
