I have had a Zojirushi breadmaker, model BB-CEC20 for about 7 years, but only started using it more frequently recently, so it hasn't gotten a whole lot of use. Yesterday, it turned off mid-cycle (after the bread rose) and now I can't get it to turn on again. There's no response pressing any of the buttons on the control panel. I tried different electrical outlets in the house, but it's obvious the problem is the breadmaker. How can I trouble-shoot it and is it repairable?

Your Zojirushi bread maker is a more complex machine than the regular bread machines and since it set unused for a long period of time it's possible something in the programing is the problem.
Have you found anything in the manual that might relate to this problem? If you do not have a manual you can get one through the link at the bottom of page.
I would recommend you try to contact one of their service centers to see if they can help you.
Due to the current conditions you may have to contact several sites.
I have some of the sites listed but you will have to navigate through them to find who best to contact.

You probably have a manual but if not, download one from one of the above sites.
If you are not getting any power to the machine this could be an issue with a fuse or a power supply problem. The circuit board that runs the programming for the machine could be burned out for lack of use and then all of a sudden a lot of use. The only way to really know the issue is to use a voltmeter and check out the circuit board and power outlet inside the machine.
