How do I fix the start/stop button on my Janome MC9500 sewing machine? It is dislocated and sideways. It stays pressed in so I can't use it.

The best answer to your two questions is:
Take this to a reputable repair tech. If you open the machine you'll void any warranty, and it's possible something inside has snapped, needs repair or replacement - and this is not something you can do at home.
I did see your other question (broken off lever) and between your two questions I am pretty sure the best person to fix this computerised embroidery machine is a qualified, preferably factory trained repair tech. I do vintage Singer refurb-repairs (other brands but mostly Singer) and know I'm not qualified to even consider opening up one of these computer models - for one thing you can get a very serious shock if you don't discharge the static electricity properly (and that takes training, btw), and for another, you can 'kill' the motherboard opening this thing up the wrong way.
Worth the money it will cost you to take the machine to a pro.
Best of luck, I hope your machine is back to work soon!
