Thank you Judy. Never dawned on me to check ebay. Couldn't open that link but went right to it on ebay search. Further checking last night the name of the company was on the bottom of the controller. E & E Company new for 20.00.

Well Basset Hounds are adorable so I'm sure he/she is worth the 20.00. It is probably better to buy it new and keep it in a safe place until your baby is better trained.
