I used to recommend to people to look for controllers at flea markets and online and try to repair them, but I have now heard to many bad outcomes with fires, sparks, and burns with replacement parts for electric blankets that were not from the factory or one of their authorized distributors.
That is just me. Safety first!

It is very hard to find the original. I feel comfortable using the manufactures but I couldn't find much information. Would it be worth it to purchase a new electric blanket (a new twin runs at minimum $20) versus a plug replacement $9-13 and any shipping fees that may apply.
