Anyone know of ways to reuse or repurpose socks? I have a lot of men's socks not being used, so ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

We frequently use old socks:
Husband (biologist) uses them in live trapping small wiggly animals-mice, birds, etc. He wraps them in old socks and checks for health-lice, fleas, etc., then releases them.
He wraps tools in socks for transit to avoid damage.
Cover glass and other small breakables for moving.
Use them in RV to store small breakables in transit.
Stuff crochet yarn and tools in socks for transit.
Wrap breakables in the RV fridge for travel.
Wrap collections for travel/storage (avoids moisture problems using plastic bags)-nature & archaeology: pot shards, bones, shells, pine cones, small branches, seeds etc.
They make terrific dusting cloths. Put them on one or both hands and go for it.
Cut off the foot and use the top of the sock to keep wrist and arms warmer. This is especially great if you have arthritis in those areas.
Put barley and a sprig of lavender in it and tie or sew the end closed. Heat for 2 minutes when needed for sore muscles or warming up your feet on cold night s.
