Restoring a Faded Vintage Formica Table Top?

I used my 1950's table outside for a yard sale. many items were placed on it on a cloudy day (no sun). Where the items were the yellow color is fine but where it was exposed to the light there are gray lines in the pattern as if some of the yellow went to gray. Help.

Have you tried pure household bleach? It may not help, but it sure wont hurt. I use it on my Formica counter tops all the time.
