I purchase microfiber dish towels at the dollar store. Since they're not very good for drying dishes because they do not absorb water, I use them for my Swiffer to clean my kitchen and bathroom floor. I just wet them down with warm water, wring them out then place them over the Swiffer and scrub the floor. They're washable, thus reusable and I don't have to spend the big bucks for refills.

Two women after my own heart! Yea!
I have always done this, only I use old towels that I cut into an appropriate size. Saves a lot of money.
I have a Swiffer Sweeper, is that what you use? How do you attach the towel to the swiffer?
I have done the same thing, but using old sweatshirt material cut to size.
I purchased a Rubbermaid Reveal mop. Its similar to a swiffer, yet you refill the bottle with whatever you like, and wash the mopping pads and reuse. So much less waste, and much cheaper in the long run. I paid about $30 with a coupon.
I bought a Rubbermaid reveal spray mop. It is similar to a swiffer . But its better than a swiffer , you can refill the bottle with whatever cleaning solution you choose. I have dust mop pads, and terry cloth wet mopping pads. The mop has hook tape on the bottom, and the machine washable pads stick on to the bottom very securely. It was around the same price as a swiffer , yet no refills of any kind to buy, creating less waste and saving me money.
