When scrapbooking, save all your scraps. They can be used when making cards, etc. Small triangles can be used for corners, etc.

When you purchase scrapbooking products that are acid free, lignin free you are buying a good quality product. Every bit of the paper is good paper so save the scraps which can be used to create other pages later on. Collect patterned papers with the same color scheme and check out how nice they look when placed side by side on your page. So, don't throw out those scraps! (02/10/2007)

This is why I love the bag of scraps found at Paperjade.com The Mini Scrap Bag 6×9" [POT10241] is a large bag of scraps with quite the assortment of different kinds of papers and has all different sizes, as well. I find that I end up going places with my designs that I hadn't originally considered because of the wide selection of scraps (size, color, and paper type) found within the bag! It's quite inspiring! They also carry a scrap bag with only chiyogami, Mini Surprise Pack-Chiyogami Scraps 6×9" [POT11298] if you want just Japanese Chiyogami (handmade paper). (11/14/2009)
