A smart way to re-use an old spare tire is to use it in the garden. It's better than keeping it stuck forever in the garage, right? So, we made individual plots for lemons from a pile of old tires. It was filled with healthy soil and we placed bamboo sticks around it so the free range chickens won't be able to reach the plant and feed on its leaves or fruit.

No No No Old tires contain chemicals that can leach into food. it might be OK for flowers but not food. The best place for old tires is at a place that takes them and uses them correctly.
This is a great idea, but it is also toxic and dangerous for the food that grows on your trees. If you want to use old tires in your garden you can create a barrier by cutting them in half and placing rocks or wood chips around them.
I've seen many people try to plant food inside the old tires and were sick afterwards. You can use the tires to plant your flowers or some small shrubs in them, but I'd suggest removing the lemon tree from them before they become toxic.
I think your idea is cute and adorable, however, it is also dangerous. There are chemicals in the tires that get into the dirt and can affect the food that is growing in the tires.
hi guys.. Thanks for your good comments and suggestions
I realized that, too,the lemons were already removed and Transferred 'em to a wooden plot few days after this post. I still use the tire plots but with new flower sprouts instead of fruits.
