This is a sweet snack I actually invented as I ran out of pancake ingredients. I have visitors and what's left is a pack of sticky rice flour. So I was thinking what to do with it until I discovered the stickies.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sticky rice flour
- brown sugar
- water
- cooking oil
- pinch of salt
Steps:
- Mix 1 cup sticky rice flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar and a pinch of salt.

- Pour water little by little.

- Continuously stir mixture as you add water until a dough is formed.

- Take a small portion.

- Roll it to form a long thick string.

- You can twist it but its optional.

- Drop each piece in boiling water and wait until it floats.

- Remove and drain excess water.

- Deep fry the pieces.

- When it starts to expand, sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar in each batch.

- Stir until sugar melts and coats well with the stickies.
- Remove from pan and serve hot.
