I have a Troy Bilt riding mower. It started up and it died a minute later. Now it won't start. Any help?

If you left gas in the tank last time you used the mower it has sludge in it now and is clogging the carburetor. You need to check the gas flow to the carburetor, change the fuel filter and spark plug. Also check the solenoids and make sure they are firing correctly. If all else fails then you need to go to the chassis and check the wires and make sure they are not damaged.
