I charged the battery and the mower still won't start. The headlights burn and it was running great 5 days ago. When I finished mowing I washed the mower off as I do every time and it has never failed to start. The mower is 2 years old.

This could be really easy to fix. It sounds like the switch under the seat needs to be reset. Also check to see if you can jump start the mower using a screwdriver on the solenoids. If you can do this then look under the seat and reset the switch there.
