Roaches Living in the Base of Artificial Plants?

I have many artificial plants and would hate to have to throw them out. Does anyone know how to rid artificial plant bases (inside the pot) of roaches and eggs? I plan on moving and do not want to transport them to new place.

You could nuke the base to kill the eggs, or simply throw them out and buy new bases at the craft store.

Additionally, simple Borax is deadly to roaches. I once rid myself of a horrific German cockroach infestation (at the level that they were coming out of radio speakers) by just cleaning all surfaces and DOWSING everything in the white powder

If you have roaches, throw out any small items before you move. This includes small electronics such as radios as well.

The eggs are almost impossible to kill, and you will have issues again.
