I need advice on choosing colours for roman blinds on a large window and two smaller windows on either side of a bed. I am also looking at changing curtains. I like earthy, natural, neutral tones, but am trying to give my house colour. I was thinking maybe teal for the smaller windows and a sandy colour for the main window? Would you also look at putting a venetian blind instead of a roman blind on the large window?

I personally like the long Roman blinds myself. I think they look better on larger windows. I like your idea of using teal on the larger window, but not sand color on the smaller one. I would stick with the same color if it was me.
I would use the same color on both windows for continuity. I purchased vertical blinds because they don't hold the dust. Something to think about...
Venetian blinds are a real pain to clean and seem to catch every particle of dust floating around.
I know you probably realize that Roman blinds fit inside the window so think about how those will look in your windows and if curtains will be necessary at all windows. Usually if curtains are used in a case like this they would extend past the window sides so the complete window blind would be in view.
Have you considered vertical blinds? These come in all colors and many different materials and will open and close easily to let in light or dark for privacy and no outer curtains may be necessary.
I'd just get two layer curtains that go all the way to the floor to royalize the room. Maybe a rich teal for the main curtain and a thin layered transparent golden-creme behind
I love teal and would put that colour on all the windows.I would go with a venetian blind for the big window.
