There is going to be a lot of challenges now as so many had issues from the recent hurricanes, so it sounds like resources are strapped and people are having long waits for things.
Roofing assistance is always a challenge as it is expensive and needs skilled workers...and with the storm damage finding help may be a challenge.
You can also check with your church or religious organization, the local Rotary, Kiawainas, and such.
Will send up lots of prayers that that you and your mom can find a solution.
Just one last suggestion...perhaps a Go Fund Me account would help you raise money to hire and pay for the repairs. People can be quite generous if they know you are in need. Wishing you all the best! Prayers for all!
