I'm in extreme need of a roof. I don't make much money at all. My wife was in a really bad car wreck a month ago and she has been left with several bad injuries and now will be blind for the rest of her life. I live in Athens Alabama I'm just hoping someone can help me.

A completely new roof will be a very expensive project so even if you qualify for government it may be several months before any work would begin.
- Government programs to help low-income and disability applicants can only help if they still have money in their budget for that sort of work.
- sometimes people can get a very low cost loan (even interest free sometime) if "free" money is not available.
- If you are on any type of government assistance program (food stamps, etc) this may make it easier as they will already have some of your information available.
- If habitat is working in your area, they may be able to help with repairs if not a new roof. You can contact them here.

- You may be able to apply to some of these agencies.
