Some mornings if I am lucky, I awake to the swishing sound of fire bringing a hot air balloon right over our house. This photo was taken on a very lucky day. I was ignored when I yelled, "come and get me."

We've had air balloons come right over the house here too, and we all waved to each other, that was fun.
Those balloons look exciting, but I could never get into one, haha, could you, or have you?
That's really cool, and a really neat picture.
Not too far from us, the balloons on certain days of the week all lift off, and what a sight that is. I guess it's balloon rides to check out the city here, and sometimes when they fly over the house, really low too, and I'll run out back and wave, and they all hang over the sides waving back.
It looks like fun, but I could never get in one-too much of a chicken for that, hahha
I see you're in Davis, what a beautiful area that is. It's no wonder people love to fly in those balloons to see the rolling green hills and trees, oooooh, so beautiful it is.
Right now we are filled with smoke from the devastating Carr fire. Fires all over the west. So dry and sad for many.
