Safe Ladder Storage - ladder hanging on wall We live in an earthquake prone state, so having our ladder secured is important. We also like to have our ladder to be easily accessible and to take up as little space as possible in the garage.

This is our ladder storage situation - made with items around the house that we already owned.

Supplies:

metal bracket
sturdy rope
nails

Steps:

We cut a random piece of metal bracket material that has holes. We only needed 4 holes.
Thread some sturdy rope through two of the holes and secure the 2 center holes with nails in the wall. Make sure to use a stud finder to nail right into the wood for a solid hold.

Then you can tie your rope.
