Safety Razor for a Cheap Shave

Shaving with a multiblade "cheese grater" is expensive. The frugal shaver uses an old fashioned double edge safety razor. On Amazon, a Merkur Classic razor is $19.75 or you can treat yourself to a Merkur 30C for $29.99. Yes, you do want the 3 piece take apart design. Simple is better,and that style shaver head is less bulky than razors which twist open when replacing a blade. Easier to mow around your "face furniture". Also available on Amazon are Astra blades at a whopping $9.83 for a pack of 100. Each blade lasts me a week. Works out to 23 months of shaves. And, yes, Barbasol works just fine.
