Add salad dressing to the bottom of your jar. Then add layers of lettuce and whatever else you want in your salad. Put on the lid and take it in your lunch. The salad will not be wilted by lunch.

Oh, you mean "jar salads".....if you look on Pinterest you will see how that seems to be the rage! I have tried myself and also just used canning jars or other clean saved glass jars to store fresh veggies.
