Gold Post Medal for All Time! 677 Posts I had leftover sauerkraut, which I had no idea what to do with. I also had a leftover baked potato, so I decided to combine them into something completely new.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- oil for sautéing
- 1 potato, cooked
- 1 onion
- leftover sauerkraut
- salt and pepper to taste
- paprika (optional)
Steps:
- Chop the onion. Sauté for a minute or two.
- Peel the potato if you wish, and slice into chunks. Add to the onion and sauté a few minutes.
- Add the sauerkraut and sauté another few minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper and paprika.

Sounds yummy.now cook up some italienne sauceage and add that to your potatoes and sauerkraut. Oh so good.
