Hello all. I am thrilled to have found you! Who knew I was not the only one looking for a long-lost stuffed animal? I was given this lamb--"Lamby", naturally--by my beloved grandmother when I was born, in early 1979. She purchased it either in Salt Lake City, UT or in Oakland, CA.
There are three features I remember: black button eyes (I loved to gnaw on them, and it's a wonder I didn't choke!) a tiny red felt tongue, and a stiff but sort-of malleable body. Thanks in advance for any leads you may have!

Plush animals without a tag/brand are very difficult to locate.
You did not mention a tag so can you tell us if there was a tag - anything you can remember? Even where it was located?
Did you/grandmother name the lamb or was this the name provided with the lamb? This is important to know.
Lambs are so cute that they have always been among the favorites of children over the years. This makes it even more difficult because now when people are wanting to downsize, every kind of lamb imaginable will be listed for sale.
There are several forums that help people find 'lost/remembered' toys, especially plush animals. Members are very good at finding information as they have a lot of knowledge about the vintage toys.
You will have to join the groups (free) before you can post your pictures but I think you'll find these are sites that help a lot of people asking the same type of questions as you.
