I would start by improving the diet and eating natural foods, not boxed foods, no preservatives, etc. Then I would add natural supplements such as magnesium, and valerian root, and make sure you are not eating too much sugar in your diet.
There are medications that treat anxiety in it's different forms, a good one is lexapro which you will have to have an rx for.
