It appears that many crafters will be the tabs as long and the center part is removed. When you remove the tabs from the can it is best to use pliers to do this with. It will remove the curly center of the tab that will get stuck on other tabs. You'll receive a better price if this is removed.
You'll also need to arrange the tabs by size and color if this applies. Selling them by size will get you a better price.
Check on eBay to find other listing and be competitive with your pricing. Just remember to include shipping in the price you sell them for. The biggest market for tabs is crafters.
Recycling it as aluminum won't be much value, but crafters may need it (but in a lot quantity)
For regular household just getting rid and not being a supplier, I'd just try eBay.
