They are used to make Christmas decorations for Christmas trees, gift wrapping, and candle yule logs, wreaths and other wall decorations or anything else you can imagine Sometimes they are spray painted like gold, silver white or other colors needed You can probably fine pinecone craft projects in books at your library, book store, or online. Here in Washington we have cones from the big ones to the tiny hemlock or cedar
