We have 48 porcelain dolls that we are interested in selling. They range from 1986 to 1990 and they are new in the box. Do you know who we can sell them to?

Put them on eBay. You will get the largest audience there
You have a few options.
If you think any of them are valuable, you would need to research them on eBay (best way is to look at SOLD values--ignore selling prices...people can ask anything they want, SOLD tells you what people will pay).
Create a little spreadsheet or paper list so you keep track of values.
Once you are sure you don't have one that is super valuable (there are a few ringers out there...most dolls from 1986 to 1990 average $10 each) you can decide the best way to sell them.
eBay gets you the most exposure, but it is HUGE work to photograph, describe, post, list, sell, and ship these. HUGE!! I have done it...it can take months and months for them to sell as there is a huge glut of ALL dolls on the market. I can tell you that the new USPS DIM (dimensional weight system that is starting later this month is going to KILL most online sales where the item needs a bigger box--google DIM USPS and you will learn about this new (and dreadful) complication for those of us who sell online.
You could take them to a consignment shop and have them take and sell them. You will either get a check when they all sell or if you have a contract where they pay monthly, you will get a check then.
Be sure to read the contract and see how the store works.
You could also try to sell them either one a time or in groups on places like Facebook Market place or the Facebook Flea Market and FSOT (stands for For Sale OR Trade). There are lots of local buying groups on Facebook you can ask to join. Read their rules and post your ad.
BE SAFE in this method. NEVER meet anyone alone. ALWAYS take cash.
The last suggestion is if you have a hospital or nursing home or other facility where you can donate them and get the tax credit, that will give the dolls the most ROI with good karma!
Post back what you decide to do!!
