Hi! Great Corning pieces. Classics. They are easy to sell on eBay, if you want to start small, they are good and consistent sellers at 5-25 dollars, each.
Be sure to wrap these very carefully with bubble wrap, then in box 1, put that box in a bigger box with at least 2 inches all around. In that space be sure to use extra bubble wrap or foam peanuts. Double boxing like this is the best way to prevent damage in transit.
Weigh the box and put the measurements in eBay so the shipping is accurate. This is very important to do. Never let eBay calculate shipping for you. It is always wrong.
Please be aware there are false click bait stories on the internet saying these pieces are worth thousands of dollars. That is totally false. The sold auctions that show these high values are either money laundering or schill bidding by the click bait writers. Please don't get mixed up in those lies and fake ads.
The true sold values are those under $25. I feel terrible if this is not what you wanted to hear.
Like I said, if you have never sold on eBay before, it is good to start with small sales like with these items to get experience and feedbacks. Post back how it goes.
I'm sorry dude but you're wrong they were back by the news it was told by the news that they are worth money so wherever you're getting your you should check it again because it's not right it was on the news and I believe that they wouldn't put scams and Bs on the news so get your story straight.
The most profitable thing you can do with these is to travel back in time to 2005, back to the time when a person actually could make money off selling high quality items on eBay before the market was oversaturated.
I'm joking of course.
These are great dishes and SOMEBODY wants them. Sure, someone can find one at Goodwill for a small amount but that's a crapshoot. Someone can also get them on Ebay but pay $10 shipping and run all sorts of risks
The best thing to do is simply advertise on Craigslist or join facebook buy sell trade groups in the community and wait for whoever wants them. $10 to $20 a piece is what I would start with.
Is eBay or Facebook a better selling format for individuals
I think it depends on what you are selling and how valuable or hard to sell the item is. If you are trying to clear it from your home, Facebook will bring you in contact with local buyers who are more likely to be able to pick it up.
I am so sorry but if you have read that you will make a killing selling your older CorningWare it is a hoax. Most of these items are listed on eBay and other sites starting at $16 and going as high as $35. You can start an eBay auction and start the bidding around $10 to see how much you can get for each of the items you want to sell.
I BELIEVE THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE IVE BEEN SELLING ON EBAY FOR 16 YEARS NOW AND ITS AJWAYS BEEN GREAT. SO WHAT IF THE CORNING WARE IS GETTING DESIRABLE AND VALUABLE. THERES NO NEED TO BE A HATER IF SOMEONE WANTS TO SKEND THEIR AND ILL EMPHASIZE THAT THEIR MONEY ON SOMETHING THEY WANT. PLEASE STOP MAKING IT SEEM LIKE THESE CLAIMS ARE FALSE I HAVE SOME OF THE MORE RARE PIECES ON EBAY NOW MYSELF BECAUSE I CAN HELP PEOPLE FIND WHAT THEY WANT.
You can sell on facebook locally to cut back on shipping. You can also do auction/bid sale because this piece does not go for much $10 to $25.
