I have a massive doll collection. I have 30 plus years of a collection I want to sell and don't know how to go about it. There's hundreds if not more in their boxes with extra covers over them. I am looking for someone to offer honest advice.

You do not give any brand names of your dolls and very truthfully, unless they were valuable and only a few made of that doll then most dolls are not very valuable and generally difficult to sell. eBay and Etsy are the most widely known doll selling sites so you might be able to take some of your dolls and look them up on these sites and see what they are listing for (an asking price is just that, an asking price and does not mean it will sell for that amount - ever).
If you would like more detailed help you can post photos and information on one or two dolls and we may be able to help you.
Watch E-bay for a couple of months and see what your dolls are selling for, not listed prices but actual sales.
You need to look for markings on the doll. It could be on the next, back or feet. You may have to remove clothing to find it.
If you want to sell your collections, I would wait until the end of November to the beginning of December. It seems they sell better at this time.
You can take photos and list them on eBay or on Craig's list. This would probably be the easiest way to sell them. If you have Bazaars in your area at local churches you can also try to sell them there.
Normally the price ranges from $5 to $15 depending on the doll.
It depends on the types of dolls and the condition. The best way without paying someone to give you an estimate is to make a chart with each and find the matching price on eBay and Etsy.
You may find a buyer for the whole collection or you may have to sell them a few at a time. Check ebay and Amazon, also local doll clubs, colleges, do your research so you'll know if you're getting a fair offer.
