I live in a mobile home that needs work. I can't afford these repairs. Propane costs about 2,000.00 a year which is way over my budget. I can't sell it without all these repairs being done. How can I go about moving without having to do this? I plan to move into senior housing.
Do I sell off the new furnace/air conditioner and the "insides" such as stove, frig, etc.? Anyone know how to go about this without creating a "monster". My lease is up Oct. 1st next year. Please help with suggestions.

Mobile homes are difficult to sell in good repair. You do not give very much information such as where is the home located?
Are you trying to sell one that has to be moved? There are so many variables that an answer would be difficult.
Try getting some answers from your local community - there are usually senior help centers or local churches may be able to help you find answers.
I suggest you write the mobile home up as a loss and sell the lot. The lot is more valuable than the home which will probably not be worth repairing. Maybe the buyer will be willing to dispose of the mobile home's "husk" after you sell off the good parts to a heating/cooling company.
