Our community has now started a community watch group and I am responsible for getting everyone's info onto the least amount of paperwork possible. We are including names of both household residents, address, home phone, cell phone, and email address. I would like to do something exciting and worthy of being hung close by for reference in case of someone seeing an unexpected vehicle.
We have been hit by thieves hard and they are doing their dirty work in broad daylight. Some have seen the vehicles some have not. So any ideas would be welcome. I know we are starting a walk group and will be getting shirts for all that walk and will be trying to get community watch magnets to go on the back of all vehicles that live here so we can notice those that don't belong. Any ideas, any at all, would surely be appreciated.

Do you have a spreadsheet software in your computer? That would be the easiest way to come up with something you could post on the wall. The cells on a spreadsheet can be set to 'wrap' around info so that each household's information is on the same line across the page. If you need several columns to get each household's info on the page, consider printing in landscape format instead of portrait, and using 11x14 paper instead of 8x10.
Good for you and your neighbours for taking back your neighbourhood! Are you co-ordinating with the local police to organise? If yes, they will have lot of information to help you get started, including training workshops for personal protection while you are out on the street.
If this is a grass-roots group without co-ordination with your local authorities, you need to let them know what you are doing so they are aware of your presence in the neighbourhood. Take whatever advice they are willing to offer you so that you are safer, and know what information will best serve law enforcement in trying to get a conviction against a burglar.
Good luck, and stay safe out there!
