You will need to remove the bottom off of your machine. Normally there is around 6 screws. Look inside for a cam on the main drive shaft. More than likely your cam is stuck in the reverse position. This happens when your machine needs lubrication on the shaft. Use your hand and move the cam back. This will allow your machine to run in the forward position. Afterwards, add lubrication to the shaft.
You might have a stuck feed stopper motor. You can take the bottom off the machine to get to it. It is connected to the feed dogs, which make the material go back and forth.
