I have the sweetest male cat that's been fixed. We adopoted him from the Humane Society when he was 9 months old. He is the biggest sweetheart ever, a big lover. There's just one problem here! He likes having sex with my fur blanket. I want my blanket back.
Here's your problem:
Sexual function in males is not just a function of the testicles, which have been removed. It is also an instinctive function of the brain. Some neutered male cats still engage in mating behaviors.
Bottom line, you're not getting your blanket back.
yea.... I adopted a Tom cat who had just been neutered at one year old. He is a sweetheart, but he does love his minky blanket. Literally. Keep your sense of humor and know that you have lots of company.
Yes I just did too! We all have our special blanky's and I couldn't handle mine being assaulted. Lol
My tom cat Jack went crazy when he hit his adolescence he would walk around the house and cry and cry and cry it was so loud you can hear him outside the house and in every room of the house we had to get him fixed once we did it took him awhile to stop the crying but we have a female cat and she is fixed also and she's so sweet and timid and loving but from time to time Jack tries to mount her and he's about three times bigger than she is but he cannot hold his own with her she turns on him and hisses and growls like she is a lioness you wouldn't think such a small cat could run a big old Tomcat off so fast but he's just don't get it he always comes back for more but that's Jack he's a true male at heart you got to love him.
This is a page about neutered male cat mounting other male cats. Cat owners may be concerned when they see their fixed male cat trying to mount another male cat.
