You don't have to replace your dull tweezers. This tip works on expensive tweezers that have gotten dull and makes cheap tweezers as sharp as their more expensive counterparts.
Use a nail file or fine grade sandpaper. Rub the tweezers up and down the file or sandpaper a few times. You can also sharpen the point, as I have shown in the second picture.
This process makes both sides of the tweezers fit together snugly, enabling you to grab the hairs more easily. Try it and you will be very pleased with the results.

You've just supplied the solution to my pet peeve. And when sending back to manufacturers who give free replacements or repairs, there is a large investment in time. I have many pairs of useless dull tweezers, which I save for picking up hair from drains and other utilitarian tasks. But given all the plucking I do every day, I'll be overjoyed to have all of my tweezers functioning again. This is a fabulous tip, for which I thank you for submitting!
