I make hair mask with fresh avocado, olive oil, castor oil, rosemary oil, coconut oil, vitamin E oil, and other essential oils. I keep them frozen and the one currently using refrigerated. It defrosts well but how long will they last without doing so? Leaving out refrigerator. I ordered avocado, lecithin, and grapeseed powders to help preserve future avocado masks. Will that help and for how long? My apologies for bad refrigerated picture. It actually looks better same as frozen pretty much as it still becomes solid but manageable.

Avocado mask mixture will only last 3 to 4 days in the frig , and up to 6 months in the freezer. Because of it being so natural it could turn colors, spoil, and loose all of it's vitamins if left out longer. thedermreview.com/
Avocado turns brown pretty quickly--sometimes in 1-2 days, 3-4 if it was super fresh to start. It will not be visually appealing. Probably will still work, but discard if you see even a hint of mold or if it smells bad.
For optimum freshness, freeze by the amount used at one time and defrost one treatment at a time.
It is really the best way to preserve the integrity of the ingredients and not risk it spoiling.
It will probably last 10 days in the refrigerator.
