I have a Shih Tzu who is 7 months old. If I don't feed him he doesn't eat his food by himself. What do I do? He used to actually have get liver chunks which are home made, but now he has stopped eating that also. Rather than this he eats all those jerky foods by Pedigree. I am so worried about what to give him. He doesn't eat and drools also. He is active and he is fine, but what is the solution for this?

He may have tooth and/or jaw issues. Discuss this with your vet.
My Carmel Ann went through this when she was getting her adult teeth in. I took her to the vet, she checked out fine. I had to get the soft food for her during that period and then slowly wean her back to her dry.
In your case the liver chunks may either be too big or too chewy in this transition phase. Ask the vet what he/she recommends and approximately how far into the process your baby is (and make sure nothing else is going on). Things hopefully will be back to normal in a few weeks.
Post back with an update. Prayers!!
The jerky foods by Pedigree are horrible. I would rather boil up some chicken and give it to the dog to eat. If you are having a major issue you should consult your vet because they may have a better food to give the dog to eat.
Sounds like your dog is teething, you could try a more simpler and softer meal, all else fells go to the vet for reassurance !
I would recommend visiting your vet and you can come up with a meal plan for your dog.
