What was the flavor of the Great Value coffee creamer that was discontinued about 4 or 5 months ago? Also why did they quit making it?
It appears that there are 2 recently discontinued Great Value Coffee Creamers. The 1st is "Extra Rich" and the other is "Cinnamon Vanilla". This brand is Walmart's brand but they outsource the manufacturing for all items of their brand. In other words ... another company makes the products and sells them to Walmart shipping the items out with Great Value brand on them. If the manufacturer decides to quit making it for whatever reason than Walmart has to find another that is willing to make it and lots of times this is not possible and so the item is discontinued.
You do not specify if you are looking for liquid or powder coffee creamer but since you say you tried to order it, I assume you are referring to the powder version as the liquid is only available for pick-up at your local store.
It is possible a local store may still have some of the powder flavors in stock so if there is more than one store in your area, you might try calling to see if they have any in stock.
It looks like the only flavors they have left are French Vanilla and Italian Sweet Creme. If a flavor is discontinued, it's because there is not enough demand for it.
The creamy chocolate powdered coffee creamer is always not available. That tells me that they don't stock enough to keep up with the demand.
The chocolate powdered coffee creamer is the one we used to always buy now, it is unavailable at all Walmarts close to me. I agree they should have some explanation as to why you can no longer buy it either in the store or online.
