Our 5 year old Maltese pooped in the house 3 times on Thursday while we were at work! She had an upset stomach Friday and Saturday threw up a few times! She didn't eat until Sunday late afternoon then she pooped in the house on Sunday night! Is she doing this cause she's sick? And will she stop when she feels better? Or do we have to put her in a kennel now? I feel bad doing that since she's never been kenneled, ever! Thanks for your time.

I would not put a sick dog in a kennel, unless she is isolated from other dogs. She is sick and is vomiting and having diarrhea just as humans do. I would call the vet for advice. You may have to bring her in to be checked.
Please let the vet check your pup out ASAP! Upset stomachs can be anything from a food allergy or nervous reactions to something serious with dozens and dozens of configuration in between.
We have experienced this many times with our fur kids and each time it was something different and ours were totally manageable, but all required a vet check or phone call. Some vets will do it by phone if they have seen the dog for its history.
The vet will give you the best answer. NEVER kennel a sick pet for her safety and for the safety of the other animals.
Sending up lots of prayers for your fur baby!

Yes your dog is doing this because she is sick. When she gets better she will stop doing it. You need to take her to the Vet right away. She may have a serious virus (parvo) that can be fatal if treatment is not started very quickly.
