Silver or Silver Plate Platter?

Silver or Silver Plate Platter I have a platter, but don't know if it's silver or silver plated. I live in a pretty small town and don't know where to go to find out. It has a marking on it.

I've done some research including even trying to contact the company. I hope someone can help

If it were silver it would say sterling or 925 on it. I am pretty sure you have a silver plated item. Any jewelry store could test it for you.
