Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts Mac and cheese can be overwhelming in large portions so here is my take on a simple light mac and cheese. To complete this meal, I heated up frozen natural chicken strips and turkey bacon.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 8 oz Mini farfalle (any pasta of your choice)
- 1.5 Tbsp Butter
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Dash of Black pepper
- Dash of Salt
Steps:
- Follow heating instructions for your choice of pasta and drain the pasta.
- In a sauce pan - add milk, butter and dash of pepper over medium heat. Stir until butter is melted and bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta and combine well.
- Reduce heat to low and add your cheeses. Continue to gently stir until your cheese is evenly coated and looks ready.
- Ready to eat! You can eat alone or add other toppings.
