My husband made this cute birdhouse when we went to visit grandkids. The neighbor donated wood from a swing set and my husband used it to make the birdhouse. Even the dowels were saved from an old project. We already had the screws. So the birdhouse was no cost.
Total Time: 1 1/2 hours
Yield: 1
Supplies:
- screws
- table saw
- dowel
- 1 by 6 inch, 1 by 4 inch and 1/2 by 3 inch wood scraps

Steps:
- Cut pieces of wood. Cut 2 pieces of 1 by 6's for the front and back (see dimensions in picture 1) and 2 pieces of 1 by 4's (see dimensions in picture 2). For left and right sides of birdhouse, cut with angle shape at top. With drill and large drill bit, drill hole on front side of the bird house.
