My Singer Diana sewing machine won't sew. The machine is running, but the needle doesn't go up and down. Any suggestions?

Make sure the clutch is not engaged. If you filled the bobbin with thread you might have forgotten to disengage it.
Sewing needle not moving.
Needle not going up or down.
Step 1
It may be a broken belt remove motor cover and check belt.
Step 2
Make sure machine is in sewing mode.
Step 3
Check your thread make sure it is not broke or your out of thread.
Step 4
Listen for rattling inside if that happens you need a professional.
I believe this machine is from the 70's? Nice that it is still being used.

Sounds like either the wheel was not re-engaged after winding a bobbin, or you have a broken band. Best to take it in for a tune up and repair. It is probably something very minor.
