I was a member with AOL for over 10 years and have accumulated millions of points on Slingo Express. I since have changed to a high speed carrier and would love to be able to get back and play without having to install and run the whole AOL.9 program. Can you please suggest an alternative @ gtrebyck AT aol.com, since I still have AIM for messages. Very much appreciated.

I am a 65 year old disabled male. I played slingo express on aol for 7 years and had made friends in the chat room from all over the country. I also had totaled 980 million pts striving to reach 1 billion before my years were up. aol just decided without and customer feedback to do away with game leaving thousands upon thousands of players crushed many of them are now dropping their aol account which is what i will probably do. without a doubt one of the lowest stunts ever inflected on me. This new slingo is horrible please bring back slingo and slingo express they were very enjoyable and kept you on your toes this new version is so slow and you really cannot chat with others with the way it is set up think about trying to fool the public. You may or may not know they have created a "new" Slingo. Almost everyone I have talked to does not really like it. In fact, most people I've talked to are very disappointed with it!!!
Contrary to belief, they have not "brought 'old Slingos' back." However, I have working links to:
Classic Slingo, X-Press Slingo & 5-Card Slingo ...these links will get you into the games.
Most of the screen names receiving this, I have played Slingo with over the years. This is not meant to be Spam, I will not send this out again. And, yes I am attempting to recoup/offset a minor amount in relation to the time I invested putting this together trying to reach, and help fellow Slingo players.

I have played slingo for over 10 years and have seen some improvements over this time until now. I play almost everyday and it is relaxing and nice to be able to talk to others. This new version is a big let down and if you do not go back to Slingo Express or something very similar I will have to leave AOL. In fact slingo is what has kept me with AOL so long. There are a lot of other companys which are less expensive than AOl. I need to start looking for one of them I guess. (09/22/2007)

I have played the original SLINGO and SLINGO Xpress since 1995. It was a part of getting started everyday, like a cup of coffee. It was simple, convenient and friendly. Now it is none of those things and I quit it after trying the new version once. It is horrible. That it was changed the way it was is arrogance at its worst. AOL is complicit and responsible. I cannot believe they got rid of Slingo. The new slingo is a joke. I'm just craving to play the old slingo xpress right now. It was much more solid of a game than this new one. I was forced to uninstall AOL and reinstall 9.1 and NOW my Slingo Express is GONE. This is Horrible. I played that for hours on end. Whatever that is out there now is JUNK. Why mess with a good thing like this? I'm depressed. Please bring it back. (03/07/2008)

What ever happened to customer service? Bring back free public slingo and don't have that stupid message that says "your free trial has run" out 5 seconds after one logs on! thousands are no longer interested in slingo because of your attitude!
