I have a hard time holding onto the wide shampoo bottles with wet hands. I saw an empty syrup bottle. It has rings around the top and is not as wide at the top. I emptied my shampoo into it. Now I can securely hold on to it in the shower.

Several years ago when I had a broken shoulder, wide wet shampoo bottles were a struggle to manage. I cut the hand part off from a pair of rubber kitchen gloves and slipped the bottle into the sleeve. I even did it with the dish detergent bottle. The sleeve worked admirably.
I found the easiest thing to do to stop dropping slippery shampoo and body wash bottles is to wrap a couple of wide rubber bands around the bottles...such as the ones that come off a bundle of asparagus. If once around the bottle is still a bit loose, do 2 wraps. It works great, and I just move the rubber band to the new bottle when I use up the old one.
