My husband created this neat little pond for our duck, using a mortar mixing tub and scrap wood that we had laying around. It has a frame to hold the tub and a built-in ramp. With only one duck, is it easy to clean and refresh the water.

lalala... What happened to the rest of your ducks? Ducks are social community animals and should not be raised as a solitary duck, it leaves them prone to depression and then illness. Please do her/him a favor and get some others or re-home it to a place where it has duck company.
LOVE this idea.. I have a few ducks and am using a kiddie pool at this time but it's a pain to empty.
How do you empty it? Did you install a drain?
