I have a Whirlpool refrigerator and it's blowing a nasty smell from the bottom of my fridge. Anyone have any ideas?
I would clean out the drip pan if I were you.
It is recommended to routinely clean under the refrigerator, removing any dirt or items that may have gotten trapped under the refrigerator.

Other tips:
The smell is most likely coming from your drip pan but it would probably be a good idea to clean behind and under your refrigerator.
Your refrigerator most likely has wheels and can safely be pulled forward as over time the coils do trap a lot of dust and dust can make your refrigerator run more than it should (less efficient).

My refrigerator has a bad odor coming from the bottom drip pan. The pan is not removable. With my old refrigerator to clean the odor I would put baking powder all over the pan and the odor would be gone. How do I eliminate the odor if the pan is not removable? Thanks.
